bio

A group of architects working and exploring through architectural fields since 2015.

We are interested in new ways of approaching our environments and contexts. We take into account the relationships that generate them, from the individual to society, and we focused on the understanding of architecture and urbanism as a piece of an interconnected puzzle.

Always working in-between fields, from urbanism to communication, from industrial design to art, from digital to pure analogic, we look for ways to expand our knowledge and understanding of our surroundings.

La Macchina da Cucire (2017)

Situation plan

Urban diversity as an added value

The various aspirations concerning the management of the urban resources cannot be reached simultaneously by the different actors involved in urban regeneration. The opposition is generated from the projection of these different aspirations in the global and collective field.

The need to get to an agreement forces us to consider different points of view and explore new possible solutions.
Collaboration doesn´t exists without enthusiasm or curiosity, collaboration doesn´t work without opposition, the City is built though collaboration.

Axonometry

The action of building the city manifests itself in the project as a game which rules lead to a negotiation process between the involved actors, in charge of solving the disputes that arise by sharing space.
The rules of the game come from the different spaces, making the shared decision of their management, membership and edibility over time.

Items of the intervention

The resulting fabric offers a variety of activities on different scales, open to the various actors involved in the management: public organism, private, collective and neighborhood associations.
This process promotes diversity within the fabric, looking for open spaces for collective planning, for temporary appropriation and reprogramming over time, understanding the city as a living organism that does is constantly evolving adapting.

The infrastructure, composed of various architectural temporary elements that fall into the footprint of the demolished buildings, are intervened as mediators, offering attractive environments to the actors of the territory by establishing a dialogue concerning the management and the use of common space.
